Types of Throws

There are three basic types of throws. As opposed to explaining in text, I'll post a few videos to show you how to throw and grip the disc. These are just youtube videos that I found.

Back Hand: usually the most common throw. Can be used for putting, mid range, and drives. Its always better to work on accuracy before power, so, don't try throwing as hard as you can while you are practicing your throw!

Fore Hand: for some people this comes more natural, but most others will have to practice a lot to add a forehand throw to their arsenal. Its practically a necessity in order to have the ability to fade shots in the opposite direction as your backhand throw.

Over Hand: Overhand throws, sometimes called Tomahawk throws or "Thumbers" are usually only used during desperate situations. Some discs, however, like the Aerobie Epic follow amazing lines when thrown overhand. Its an interesting throw to add to your arsenal!
