I was sooo pissed to day. I went out to an ace race up in Milford. Most ace races I've heard of say metal is metal. This one said basket and up is allowed and anything below is not counted. I pegged the pole 3 inches from the bottom of the basket. God that pissed me off.

yeah ace races ive been too were any metal including pole and collar.

It's supposed to be any metal, unless throwing at a temporary/portable basket, in which case the base doesn't count (Raintree in Troy we had to use a portable cuz someone stole hole 7's basket)
